Behind the Work

At its heart, Seer Sounds exists at the intersection of healing, art, and community. I create spaces where people can soften, move, release, and remember themselves through sound.

MY STORY

Sound as Connection

Hi, I'm Stephany N. Mejia, LCSW, MSW — a therapist owner of Healing Seeds Therapy, trauma-informed sound practitioner, and DJ known as DJ Ma'Duro.

I created Seer Sounds from my belief that sound has the power to reconnect us to ourselves, our bodies, our communities, and our joy. My work blends sound healing, intentional DJing, nervous system-informed practices, and community care to create experiences that feel grounding, restorative, and deeply human.

As both a therapist and artist, I approach every offering through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing that healing can happen through stillness, movement, connection, and celebration. Whether I'm facilitating a restorative sound bath, creating space for reflection through sound, or DJing a dance floor filled with collective joy, my intention is the same: to help people feel more connected to themselves and one another.

My work is rooted in ancestral wisdom, embodiment, and the belief that joy is an essential part of healing. Through Seer Sounds, I offer personalized experiences for individuals, small groups, nonprofits, organizations, healing circles, therapist-led spaces, and community gatherings.
