A trauma-informed sound bath is a restorative experience designed with emotional and physical safety at its foundation.
Rather than assuming that relaxation looks the same for everyone, a trauma-informed approach recognizes that our nervous systems can respond differently to stillness, sound, and silence. What feels calming for one person may feel activating or unfamiliar for another. As both a licensed therapist, trained sound healing practitioner, and a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), I intentionally facilitate each session through a trauma-informed lens. My goal is not to "fix" anyone, but to create a space where you can explore rest, presence, and sound in a way that feels supportive and empowering.
At the beginning of every sound bath, I guide everyone through what to expect so that participants begin from a shared understanding of the experience. I'll explain the flow of the session, introduce the instruments you'll hear, discuss the volume and movement throughout the experience, and offer options for engaging in ways that feel right for your body. Knowing what to expect can help reduce uncertainty and allow your nervous system to settle into the experience more comfortably.
Throughout the session, I play a variety of sound healing instruments with intention, allowing their tones and vibrations to gently unfold over time. The sounds are offered as an invitation — not something you have to respond to in any particular way. There is no "right" way to experience a sound bath. Some people feel deeply relaxed, others notice thoughts arising, emotions surfacing, or simply become more aware of their bodies. All of these responses are normal.
Drawing from trauma-informed yoga principles, I also acknowledge that practices involving stillness, mindfulness, or sensory awareness can affect each person's nervous system differently. You are always encouraged to make choices that support your well-being, whether that means adjusting your position, opening your eyes, taking a break, or simply listening in the way that feels most comfortable. You are never expected to push through discomfort.
My intention is to offer an experience that is grounded in choice, predictability, and respect for your individual experience. Whether this is your first sound bath or you've attended many before, you are welcome exactly as you are.
-
Please bring a yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on, along with any items that help you feel supported during relaxation. Many people enjoy bringing a blanket, pillow, bolster, or additional cushions for extra comfort. Since your body temperature may drop as you rest, I also recommend bringing a cozy blanket or wearing layers.
You may also want to bring water for before or after the session.
Everything else is optional. My intention is to create a space where you can settle in comfortably and care for your body in the way that feels best for you. The more supported and comfortable you are, the easier it can be to relax and receive the experience. I will also usually bring my props, and when helpful ear plugs, and eye masks for your use

Seer Sounds brings together three complementary disciplines that are rarely offered in one experience: mental health, sound healing, and music curation.
As a licensed therapist, trained sound healing practitioner, DJ, and 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), I approach every experience with an understanding of how music, sound, and the nervous system intersect. While my sound baths and events are not therapy, my clinical training informs how I create spaces that prioritize emotional safety, choice, and a trauma-informed approach.
Unlike a traditional sound bath that may simply involve lying down and listening, each Seer Sounds experience is thoughtfully designed from beginning to end. Whether I'm curating a playlist for intentional music listening, DJing a community event, or facilitating a sound bath, every transition, rhythm, and instrument is selected with care to support the overall flow of the experience.
My background as a DJ also allows me to create unique offerings that blend intentional music listening with live sound healing. These experiences invite participants to notice how music affects emotion, memory, and the body before gently transitioning into the slower, immersive sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, drums, and other healing instruments. This combination creates an experience that is both engaging and deeply restorative.
When you book Seer Sounds, you're not simply hiring someone to play instruments or provide music. You're working with someone who understands the science of the nervous system, the therapeutic potential of intentional listening, the art of creating meaningful musical experiences, and the importance of helping people feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the process.
Whether your event is for a wellness retreat, corporate team, nonprofit, private gathering, or community experience, my intention is to create an environment where people can connect—with themselves, with one another, and with the present moment — through thoughtfully curated sound.
-
No. While I am a licensed therapist, Seer Sounds experiences are not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment. My therapeutic training informs the way I facilitate sessions — through a trauma-informed, choice-centered approach. These experiences are educational and wellness-focused rather than clinical.
-
Yes! I offer experiences for corporations, nonprofits, retreats, conferences, wellness studios, healthcare organizations, schools, and private gatherings. Whether you're looking for a restorative sound bath, intentional music listening experience, live DJ set, or a customized wellness event, I'd love to collaborate to create an experience that fits your group's goals.

Intentional music listening is the practice of engaging with music as more than background sound.
Together, we'll slow down and notice how rhythm, melody, lyrics, and silence affect our thoughts, emotions, and bodies. Rather than simply hearing music, we create space to fully experience it. In some Seer Sounds events, this journey flows into a live sound bath, offering both an active and restorative way to connect through sound. -
There is no "right" way to experience a sound bath. Some people feel deeply relaxed, while others notice thoughts, emotions, memories, or physical sensations. You may even fall asleep. Every nervous system responds differently, and all experiences are welcome. My invitation is simply to notice whatever arises with curiosity rather than judgment.
-
I provide DJ services for wellness events, retreats, nonprofit gatherings, corporate wellness programs, community events, yoga classes, conscious celebrations, and private events.
My style is rooted in creating an atmosphere that supports connection, presence, and meaningful experiences rather than simply filling the room with music. -
Yes! This is one of my signature offerings. I can create a unique experience that begins with an intentional DJ set or guided music listening journey before transitioning into a live sound bath.
The combination offers participants both an engaging musical experience and an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and rest through immersive sound healing. -
Traditional DJs often focus on keeping people dancing and maintaining high energy throughout an event. While I can certainly create an engaging atmosphere, my approach begins with a different question: How do you want people to feel when they leave?
Every playlist and transition is intentionally curated to support the purpose of your event — whether that's helping your team decompress after a busy season, creating a welcoming atmosphere for a community gathering, encouraging meaningful connection, or guiding participants from movement into deep rest through sound healing. My background as a therapist, sound healing practitioner, and DJ allows me to thoughtfully shape the emotional arc of an experience, using music not just as entertainment, but as a tool for presence, connection, and transformation.
